Cole Weston was associated with the Forest Theater Guild for over 50 years, serving as president a number of times. He directed over 30 plays in Carmel's outdoor Forest Theater. Cole had six children including photographer Kim Weston.

With permission from his father, Cole continued to print Edward Weston's negatives after his death in 1958.
